Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please follow the instructions below.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request account deletion, ALL of the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted:

Identity Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture (linked via Google Sign-In).
Learning Progress: All course progress, quiz scores, and completion status.
Cloud Saves: Any data synchronized to our cloud servers.

Data Retention: Upon completion of the account deletion process, no user data is retained. All mentioned data is permanently removed from our active servers and backups. We do not keep any history or logs associated with your identity.

Please Note: This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your learning history or data.

How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Delete via App (Recommended)

This is the fastest way to delete your account.

Open the Bắt đầu học tiếng trung app on your device.
Tap on “Me” in the bottom navigation bar.
Tap on “Account”.
Tap on “Delete Account”.
Confirm your choice in the popup dialog. Your data will be deleted immediately.

Method 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by sending an email to our support team.

Send an email to [email protected].
Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request - [Your Email Address]”.
In the body of the email, please explicitly state that you want to delete your account associated with the provided email address.
- Example: “Please delete my Easy Chinese account associated with [email protected].”

Processing Time: Email requests may take up to 7 business days to process. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently removed.
